Episode Context

Episode 2 lands immediately after Isobe's field debut leading the Belve Squad through 'Operation: Tokyo Cedar Pollen' in Episode 1, serving as the personal decompression that follows that opening loss. It functions as a character-establishing bridge rather than a plot driver, fleshing out Isobe's civilian headspace before Episode 3 pushes him back into the grind with home life pressures and media fallout waiting ahead. At only Episode 2 of 24, this is GANGLION planting its emotional and comedic foundation early.
