Episode Context

Sitting at episode 40 of 113, this filler two-parter arrives at roughly the one-third mark of the series, well into the rhythm of Tetsurou and Maetel's episodic planet-hopping. Following their visit to the Mist Capitol and its fragile inhabitants, this arc shifts tone toward themes of power and rebellion under a domineering Chieftain. As Part One, it exists primarily to establish stakes and setting, with the direct continuation in the next episode where the confrontation escalates.
