Episode Context

This episode concludes the two-part 'Witch of Plated City' storyline begun in episode 34, resolving the conflict centered on Tetsurou and Hoilock before the journey pushes forward. What follows is 'The Great Chief Cicropros,' signaling that the 999 is already moving on to new destinations and new antagonists, a structural rhythm that defines the series. At episode 35 of 113, Tetsurou is still in the earlier stages of his journey, and each stop continues to sharpen his understanding of what mechanical immortality truly costs.
