Episode Context

Landing at episode 33 of 113, this episode follows the eerie suspended-time world of 'Bitten Planet of Stopped Space-time,' continuing a stretch of standalone stops that collectively deepen the series' meditation on mechanization and human longing. Ulatorus extends that thematic thread by centering a machine being's relationship to humanity, adding another perspective to an argument the series keeps revisiting. It directly precedes 'The Witch of Plated City - Part One,' signaling a coming shift toward more layered, multi-part storytelling.
