Episode Context

Arriving at episode 27 of 113, this is mid-early journey territory. Tetsurou and Maetel are well into their pattern of planet-by-planet encounters, each one testing Tetsurou's worldview in new ways. Coming off 'The Skeleton's Song,' which carried its own somber register, the Snow Capital continues that darker emotional streak. This episode bridges toward 'The Great Writer of the Mirage Planet,' shifting the thematic focus next toward isolation and artistic pursuit.
