Episode Context

Coming off Mikan's arrival and introduction to Alice Academy in episodes 1-2, this third installment marks the transition from setup to integration, the point where she must earn her place rather than simply show up. It establishes the social hierarchy and peer dynamics that will fuel conflicts throughout the 26-episode run. By testing Mikan's resolve this early, it sets the foundation for her longer journey of self-discovery and understanding her own abilities.
