Episode Context

Coming directly after Episode 25's resolution of the student rebellion arc, this finale pivots from collective action to deeply personal stakes, centering on Mikan and Hotaru's friendship as the emotional anchor of the entire season. As the final episode of 26, it functions as both a culmination of the character growth threaded throughout the series and a gentle landing point that leaves room for future stories. It rewards viewers who stayed invested in the character dynamics rather than just the larger academy conflicts.
