Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, this episode directly resolves the rescue arc kicked off in Episode 14, 'Get Natsume Back,' where Mikan and Sumire set out on a dangerous mission outside the academy's walls. It closes out that high-stakes detour and pivots the narrative back toward academy life, setting the stage for Episode 16's 'Maze Match - The Magic Lamp' and the lighter, competition-driven episodes ahead. The emotional groundwork laid here, particularly between Mikan and Natsume, becomes foundational for the second half of the season.
