Gachiakuta Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Born with nothing in the slums and framed for murder, Rudo is literally thrown into a giant pit of garbage. That's not a metaphor — the wealthy elite live up top in a floating city called the Sphere, and when they're done with you, they toss you into the abyss along with everything else they consider trash. Rudo survives the fall, which is where things get interesting. Down in the wasteland, discarded objects mutate into monsters called Trash Beasts, and the only people fighting them are a ragtag group called the Cleaners who wield 'Jinki' — weapons forged from the souls of abandoned things. Season one set up Rudo's wrongful exile, his burning need for justice, and the gritty world beneath the Sphere. Season two of this TV series continues that thread, pushing deeper into the power system and the fractured society that created this mess in the first place. The whole thing has this graffiti-soaked visual style that feels genuinely different from most shounen out there, and the soundtrack hits hard without being overbearing. If you liked the class warfare and vertical world-building of Made in Abyss, the grimy aesthetic of Dorohedoro, or the rage-fueled underdog energy of early Attack on Titan, this sits comfortably in that space. It's mean, it's stylish, and it doesn't waste your time pretending the world is fair.
