Episode Context

With only four episodes remaining, this 8th race arrives immediately after the hard-fought conclusion of Race 7, keeping momentum at a near-constant peak. The rivalry between Hayato and Randall takes center stage here, sharpening the competitive tension that has been building across the season. What follows in Episode 34 shifts the lens inward, pivoting toward Hayato's evolving bond with his cybernetic navigator Asurada, making this episode the last major pure-racing beat before the series turns toward its emotional endgame.
