Comunque, i nazisti qui mi sono serviti 10 anni fa per la maturità. Quindi, ok.

Despite some small foreshadowing, the anime's big twist with the Gate is still nonsensical, and the execution of Envy and Dante's plots shows that the series still has no idea how to pace itself.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 50 of 51, 'Death' follows directly from Edward's jarring passage through the Gate of Truth and arrival in a parallel world, escalating the consequences of that displacement. As an anime-original episode, it operates outside the manga's storyline, building toward the series' unique conclusion rather than adapting source material. Everything here is engineered to funnel momentum into the finale, making it an essential bridge despite its filler classification.
