📖 SYNOPSIS
"Fujiko Fujio A no Mumako" is a short anime series adapted from the horror manga "Mumako" by Fujio (A) Fujiko. The anime comprises three self-contained stories, each focusing on a different protagonist grappling with the stresses of societal pressures. The only connecting element between the stories is the character Mumako, who appears as a side character in each narrative. Mumako grants a twisted interpretation of a wish made by the protagonist, resulting in a physical transformation. The titles of the stories, "Castle," "Transformation," and "Slough," allude to the nature of the transformations experienced by the protagonists. The anime originally aired as a one-time broadcast on the entertainment program "Gimia Bureiku" on TBS.
