Not gonna lie, I feel bored to follow the first half-hour of this film. Since the premise about exploring the origin plot of the series, it's wrong to think it would be safe to start from this one LOL. But overall, I love the heartfelt elements and specific perspectives here

If you watch this movie without watching the anime, the first 15-20ish minutes would be quite confusing as it randomly goes back and forth between different layers of time. But then it focused on the backstory of Tohru's parents and it's quite well written, easy to understand.
