The whole Shun fever dream was something but again props to Saki for getting her shit together, idk how the plot would've progressed without her brains. Cantus sure is some op stuff. Quite an interesting watch, with all of Squealers Sweet talking, it's evident he is in this fight for his own self interest... and honestly I don't really blame him.

Seeing Saki and Satoru navigate a literal war zone without their Cantus is peak survival horror. The series finally dropped the peaceful school trip act and showed how terrifying this world actually is. More terrifying things gonna happen.

The animation during Satoru’s attacks is impressive and really captures the scale of his power. Even the details of how exhausted he looks after launching so many attacks are clearly seen. Seeing him struggle like that makes the danger feel much more immediate.
