Yooo I didn't expect much from the new characters but they are all cooking! And I definitely didn't expect the way Denken's team got that Stille. It was both hilarious but also understandable, given their circumstance.

You know how some anime also uses "imagination" as magic's limit? The difference here is the storytelling in Frieren does it masterfully. Perfect combination of dialogue, atmosphere and visuals

Not sure what to say. This episode is definitely another highlight of the series. You can see the scale of how magic has evolved through the years. Differences in perspectives and motivations are written perfectly too

Same with Fern's fight, Frieren only used basic combat magic. Absolute chills when Frieren used a magic that destroyed the Barrier, soundtrack and animation are absolute peak!.
P.S. Denken may be out of mana but muscles magic doesn't need any mana 💪🏻

Frieren breaking the barrier was a such a cheat code. Denken getting 0-diff in a magic duel but redeeming himself by going man-to-man was absolute peak. That old man is built tough! Second test is gonna be wild.

Yep, Frieren's aura farming for real, doing that for the sake of her team. Also, Denken used the most basic spell they could do. Fistfighting 🤣🤣🤣. Can't wait for the next exam.

Just when you think Frieren cant get more OP, she just showed that she is HER. Epic battles all around, just a spectacle to watch.

Okay so this was tough but fun? I was like “ugh not another challenge” but then it actually made me root for everyone. There’s this raw feeling of trying again and not giving up that just works for the whole mood of the show.

Even a legendary spell was decipher by frieren she very close to be come a limitless mage. visual effect of this episode is stunning and battle scene is amazing.

It was a nice touch for the rain to land on the barrier. The observation of the changing weather as power shifting was a good idea. A key highlight to me was the point when the barrier finally broke. It was a huge wall that had been broken down to highlight Frieren's prowess.

With the continuation of the first exam we are shown how powerful Frieren is by sqaring her up against an elderly human. A world building episode about how vast the world of magic is. This was most highlighted by Frieren's silent rebellion against her master's master. The animation does not disappoint!

This episode is intense. Frieren’s power scale is displayed impressively, supported by strong animation in both side character fights and her own moments. The booming soundtrack adds weight to the action and makes the highlights feel impactful.

this episode is great because the fight between frieren and denken is cinematic as heck, the effort went into the visual effect is insane, the way frieren "breaks" the rule to help out her team is a great showing for her power. Denken really said my fist is rated E for everyone

The fight between Frieren and Denken was a visual spectacle as well as the fight between Richter and, Kanne and Lawine. We saw the side characters' abilities that never felt like a filler or irrelevant.

Not only that, but we also saw a glimpse of the Great Mage, Serie.

The fight between Denken and Frieren was exciting! Two mages that share the same thought about searching magic and are old 😂. Another episode that contributes to " How REALLY strong is Frieren?". This episode just got me thrilled for the next episodes!!!
