I was not expecting an ally to just casually walk in like that. It turns a simple trek into something that feels… alive. There’s this little burst of excitement that comes from not knowing what’s next. This episode got me actually cheering a bit.

The test began with much enthusiasm. I enjoyed the sight of the different mages and their styles. The birds and the forest were cleanly animated. The section in which teams were created was an excellent one. Just to see how these strangers would get along.

This was done well through quick conversations of the characters ginving subtle hints while introducing characters to look out for and intensifying the tone of the test.
