This episode is a great showcase for Madhouse’s usual top-tier animation that makes this series so damn good

Finally they went on a date glad it's not that type of series that speed runs the relationship at the end of the show *cough *cough "Black Clover" anyway I digress this is kinda bittersweet because you can just feel that it's not an organic date sure it had it's moments but still it didn't have that Stark flare lol but maybe it's a cautionary tale about making your own way.

What I love about this episode is that, finally, Fern and Stark started dating each other. Stark may be a bit inconsiderate about Fern's feelings, and the way I see it, theyre the perfect couple in this anime.

Going on the adventure again and danger has increased a lot compared to what they had before. I think there will now be a lot more fighting scenes because of how many monsters there are in the north plateau. The comfy, relaxing vibes they had in the last place are now done.

I'm happy on their date, and they look happy after all, but it looks so awkward. The animation and soundtrack while the fight scenes always impress me. It looks very good and epic.

They both wanted the other person to be happy on their date, haha. The last part was so sweet and romantic. It seems like the deeper they go into the Northern Plateau, the tougher the monsters get. This is getting more exciting and hope to see a monster on par with Frieren xD

The beginning was sweet, Albeit it lacked the emotional weight, which Fern does point out. When Fern tripped it'd be prefect if Stark took her hand, and held her. Seeing Fern bewildered during the fight was something else. The Northern Plateau will be dangerous going forward.

fern and stark's date is painfully awkward in the best way possible and the second half hits completely different with some real tension - the contrast between wholesome comedy and genuine danger is peak frieren, fans are calling it one of the best date episodes in anime

I like the small detail on Frieren's braid, Messy braid = Angry Fern while a Nice and Clean = Happy Fern. My boy Stark made all the wrong moves but still arrived on a good ending 😭. The soundtrack of this episode slaps and same with the animation too.

A dwarf spent 200 YEARS looking for one specific bottle of booze and honestly? Respect. This ep is lowkey a masterclass on longing and time told through something absurdly mundane. Only Frieren does this and gets away with it. Chef's kiss.

we have watched Fern from a child and now she is growing up to be a woman. this anime always gives a slow vibe but not boring because on how they include the flashbacks that makes the current story interesting.

Ok this episode broke me. Fern's shoes. FERN'S SHOES. The way the camera keeps showing them and Stark never notices... brutal. But then the Northern Plateau fight? Best action of the season, no debate. Two halves, both peak. This is why Frieren laps every other anime. TwT

First half of the episode is really wholesome, both Stark & Fern interaction shows exactly the way teenager would do over such a thing hahaha, on the other hand, the second half went completely intense with several battles against Northern monsters

The episode focuses on lighthearted interactions and monster battles. In the first half, we get to see Fern and Stark navigate their relationship in an incredibly endearing way. In the second half, the stage is set for more intense battles in the Northern Plateau.

Finally a bit of romance after Himmel and Frieren. Didn’t expect Fern and Stark to go on a date (I’m not a manga reader), but their dynamic is so cute. Hope we get to see more of their romance.

Plus, loved the soundtrack during Frieren’s fight. It’s already on my playlist.
