What a way to wrap up a tragic and dark season. All I can pretty much say is that it's a feel trip from beginning to end. The way that the whole episode panned out practically left me speechless. The visual spectacles, the emotional weight, and the bittersweet ending has made it probably my favorite episode in the series. Overall, this season started off kind of slow for me, but by the end, I was absolutely blown away by it. It's unfortunate that we may never get a season 3 for this anime, as there are some incredible moments from the two seasons. If there ever is a season 3, though, I'll definitely give it a watch!
This final episode brings the current conflict to a head. There was so much emotional payoff and intense final battles too. I particularly loved it.
The best part of this season finale is its narrative resolution. Beyond providing a satisfying conclusion to the main conflict, this episode delivers a powerful message about humanity, empathy, and sacrifice.
