This episode does good work using visual composition to show relative status, who's centered in a frame, who's at the edge, how much space each character occupies. The direction is using staging to communicate competitive hierarchy.

Setelah banyak penjelasan soal makanan dari grup B, episode ini jadi agak terasa repetitive karena lanjut jelasin peserta grup A lagi. Tapi aku masih penasaran banget sama masakan Souma dan Hayama, apalagi episode terakhirnya keliatan bakal seru.

We are in the exciting part of the Autumn Elections Arc. Every dish is worth the hype, visually stunning and perfectly crafted. Every dish is perfectly explained with visual narration. They never forget to include meme-worthy scenes.
