This episode did not feel like it is the beiginning due to it having an amazing pacing and being it already feeling great with its comedy. Comedy is the highlight and also the main genre of it being cooking will hook up viewers and will pique intrest with this skill. A fun pilot episode.

The pacing is confident for an episode one, no awkward exposition dumping, just vibes and action. The kitchen scenes have this kinetic energy where the camera actually moves with the cooking instead of just watching it happen. Refreshing.

Awalan yang solid dan menarik dari anime ini. Visual makanannya bener bener bikin ngilerrr parah, detail makanannya juga keliatan niat banget. Awalnya agak terasa lebay gimana mereka bereaksi pas makan, tapi ternyata itu emang jadi charm dan konsep utama dari anime ini. Surprisingly jadi entertaining banget buat ditonton.

The first thing you will notice is the sound design of the anime, and next is the visual aesthetics. The chibi gags are so funny that they make the scene lively. The infographics are also informative to know the characters' names. Great way to start the anime with this episode.

this episode really makes me nostalgic again, The episode introduces Soma Yukihira, a confident teen working at his family’s diner who dreams of surpassing his father, Joichiro, really great character, love both connection family and the progress of souma's cooking.

If you enjoy cooking shows, this is definitely the one for you. The first episode is very fast paced and the visuals of the food makes your tummy rumble. The comedy in the show is great - keeps you laughing the whole time. Don't watch this around your kids though.
