Summer time means a summer break and of course, some summer camp! With all the girls coming together to enjoy some down time in Food Culture Research Club camp, this episode brings a very cozy and happy vibes that not only gives enjoyment, but also serves to bring the girls closer to each to other.
This is where the show flexes its emotional core. A trip back to Mako's hometown brings some gorgeous countryside scenery and traditional cooking methods using an old hearth. It’s a slower, deeply nostalgic episode.
A pretty refreshing episode, especially with the change of settings they have for this trip. The animation for the scenery were pretty beautifully done in my opinion, and the plot itself actually had some depth into it as it discusses past stories for the girls and some particular scenes also gave a more deep dive to their friendship!
