The last episode brings with it the end of the year for the characters. Food for the Soul is one of those animes that you don’t really know what to expect when you start it, fall in love right at the first episode and end the season wishing for me. This episode keeps the cozy vibes all the way through while nicely tying up for an end that makes you want a season 2 as soon as possible.
It doesn't end with a massive dramatic climax, but rather a gentle, satisfying continuation of their daily college lives. If you want a relaxing, feel good anime, then you can watch it.
Honestly it lowkey does not feel like a final episode, but oh well😭 (but I gotta say the food animation for this episode actually looks phenomenal!). Anyways, overall for the series I’d probably give it a 5/10⭐️. You’re not missing much if you don’t watch it and for the record, by tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll remember any plot points or even character names because of how mediocre the overall story is. And YES, I get that it’s a slice of life, but still. I guess this one just didn’t stick with me😬
