Episode Context

Picking up directly from episode 30's revelation of an impostor desecrating Kenshiro's name, this episode escalates the conflict by putting Ken face-to-face with the culprit behind the iron mask. It serves as the tension-building middle chapter of this identity-theft arc, laying the groundwork for episode 32's climactic confrontation where the antagonist's true motives are fully exposed. Positioned roughly a third of the way through the series' 109-episode run, this arc deepens the show's exploration of what the Hokuto legacy means in a broken world.
