Episode Context

Episode 109 follows directly after the monumental final confrontation between Kenshiro and Raoh in Episode 108, which served as the true narrative climax of the original series. This recap episode exists to provide emotional closure, packaging the full scope of Kenshiro's journey into a single reflective farewell. It also functions as a bridge, capping the original Hokuto no Ken while setting the stage for the continuation series, Hokuto no Ken 2.
