Episode Context

Positioned as episode 105 of 109, this filler installment arrives in the immediate aftermath of Fudo's devastating fall, giving the narrative room to breathe and mourn before the final stretch. It functions as an emotional bridge between the losses suffered by the Five Chariot Stars and the inevitable, long-anticipated showdown between Kenshiro and Raoh. While not essential for plot progression, it deepens the emotional stakes heading into the series' concluding episodes.
