Fire Force Season 3
Oshimeter
Synopsis
With the ability to set his feet on fire and kick things really hard, Shinra Kusakabe is genuinely useful in a world where people randomly burst into flames and turn into fire monsters. As a member of Special Fire Force Company 8, he's been fighting these Infernals and digging into the shady White-Clad cult pulling strings behind the scenes. Season 3 picks up right after Shinra and Arthur finish brutal training under Benimaru, only to come home and find everything's gone sideways — their captain has been arrested, the cult has brainwashed Tokyo's leadership, and the enemy is now embedded inside the very organization meant to protect people. So Company 8 is basically on their own, fighting from the inside out. David Production keeps the animation sharp and fluid, especially during the pyrokinetic fights, which have this kinetic energy that makes the fire powers feel weighty and distinct rather than just generic blasts. The soundtrack still goes hard in all the right places. At 12 episodes, this season is tight and doesn't waste time getting into the conflict. If you liked the conspiracy-meets-superpowers vibe of My Hero Academia or the stylized action of Soul Eater, this scratches a similar itch. Blue Exorcist fans will also find familiar ground with the whole "fighting supernatural threats within a structured organization" setup. The power system built around pyrokinetics stays one of the more creative ones in shounen, and this season leans into the political tension and paranoia that the earlier seasons were building toward.
