Figure 17: Tsubasa & Hikaru
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Tsubasa Shiina is a 10-year-old girl who recently moved to Hokkaido to live with her father. In school, she is very quiet and unsociable with her classmates. Then one night, she witnesses a UFO crash in the forest near her home. She rushes to the scene and finds the pilot, codenamed "D.D.", in a barely stable condition. Also in the scene is a Maguar, a hideous alien that hatched aboard D.D.'s ship. As the Maguar is close to taking Tsubasa's life, an alien lifeform fuses with her body to form the Riberus battle armor Figure 17, which shortly destroys the alien threat. The life form takes the name Hikaru and turns into an identical twin of Tsubasa. As time passes, Tsubasa becomes more open to everyone around her, thanks to her new twin sister Hikaru. However, with Maguar eggs scattered all over Hokkaido, their ability to form Figure 17 is needed to eliminate all hatched Maguars until backup from D.D.'s home planet arrives on Earth.

It's a good last episode. I like how Hikaru changed Tsubasa for the better. She has grown so much compared to how she was in the beginning - really good watch.
This episode is a bit emotional for the characters. The ending wasn't surprising. I do hope that the next episode ends the series well, as I am a bit tired of the repetition.
Honestly, the story didn't go far. They found out something new about the aliens, but that's about it. Most of the scenes were mainly side stories and a few action scenes.
I couldn't stop shedding tears in this episode. I am glad Tsubasa managed to speak up more rather than keeping it all inside. This episode is one of my favourites throughout the entire season.
Finally, a good episode. Well-balanced scenes with action and characters' lives. I like how Tsubasa is slowly accepting that she shouldn't be like Hikaru, as she is special the way she is. What the hell at the ending though??? My jaw dropped
Very slow beginning. There were some events related to the monster here and there, but they discovered something interesting. The ending had some action, which was good. What did Tsubasa and Hikaru make for lunch?
This episode is enjoyable to watch. Tsubasa is involved in a school play, which is good since she is such a shy girl. There are some emotional moments between Tsubasa and Hikaru.
There is more action in this episode. Personally, I didn't really like how Tsubasa was still that shy girl, considering how Hikaru kept on pushing her and giving her words of encouragement all the time.
I enjoyed watching this episode. We get to see Sakura's character more. Although nothing much happened regarding the monsters, it was a good insight into how the family business worked.
Nothing much happened in this episode. Tsubasa was hanging out with her classmates a lot, which I think is nice considering she was such a shy girl.
The entire episode is totally skippable. It was just Tsubasa and Hikaru playing in a sports competition. Honestly, it felt like this episode wasn't necessary since they barely talk about the monsters and aliens.
The episode was slow-paced. There were some events that I felt were unnecessary. It got interesting during the middle part of the episode.
It was quite dull in the beginning. It was slow-paced. The plot began at around 30 minutes in. There were flashback scenes as well.
Beautiful ending. Hokadoi and things happened there shaped Tsubaru character very well. A major character development to her. As for the actions, the fights were intense and had tensed atmosphere through out. I like the confidant Tsubasa at the end. Overall, a decent anime with majority of 'slice ot life's content. 47 minutes was unnecessary and also Maguar fightings in each episode as well(according to me). 7/10
The first phase was hard and frustrating and Tsubasa was like back to her old 'Tsubasa' self. But what really impressed me was her come back and that confidant she had! I was literally happy and surprised for her. There wasn't any actions(if it was there, it would an unnecessary stuff) and finally we can expect some good battle in finale episode. Kudos to Kuroda for sticking with his thoughts till the end👏
Same story grinding again and again for 47 minutes!! The Maguar things wasn't even had any major plot development even though we are ending to the season! The action scenes feels like loop- Maguar emerges, they fight, destroys.. that's all! Sometimes I feel like it's total wate of 47 minutes!
You might feel anxious or angry about Tsuba's behaviour at one point but her feelings were genuine! The first 10 minutes were really hard to process which ig most emotional part of the story! The conversation between Tsubasa and Hikaru was well portrayed. Things are really getting serious for Mother Maguar!!
Okay!! Story follows as usual BUT what's that bomb at the end??! I wasn't ready 🥺.. This made me curious for next episode fr. The time Sho and Tsubasa spent together was beautiful and felt heartwarming. His subtle smile always cherishing. Hoping to expect good story ahead!
Maguar things are getting serious. Again the action scenes seems not interesting- like they were doing some thing again and again. But girls outing was soo cozy. I liked the animation alot
Again , slice of life vibe delivered again! I like how Tsubasa-chan actively participated in school festival. It was fun, relax watch by watching kids doing unexpected stuff at school. There wasn't any action scenes but ig this 'Maguar' thing haven't ended! The ending gave me bit of worry though..
