Episode Context

Coming off episode 17's focus on Kimura and Aoki's bouts, episode 18 shifts the camera to Miyata's title defense, continuing Rising's pattern of spotlighting the supporting cast in high-stakes fights before converging on the season's marquee event. Positioned at the 72% mark of a 25-episode season, this installment serves as critical buildup toward the Takamura vs. David Eagle main event that looms ahead as the season's climactic centerpiece.
