VerifiedYou must watch this first before watching Fate/Strange Fake but before that you must watch Fate/Zero and El-Meloi to get the reference or what the people are talking about. Don't expect for the anime to hold your hand or spoonfed you with information, you must also know a bit of both mythology and history to understand the servant's mannerism/actions. This studio really has doubled down that they can also make a good fate anime and of course Hiroyuki Sawano delivers another exceptional soundtrack.

VerifiedThe movie is a visual masterpiece especially the fight scenes are mind-blowing 💥, and the song choices gave me goosebumps 🎶.
Too many dialogs, but understandable for character intro.
The ending felt incomplete, I can't wait to see what happens next!

Perfect opening for the Fate/strange Fake

An interesting take of the Holy Grail War. First off, I have mid expectations with the animation but oh golly, it was great! The action scenes made me jawdrop a lot of times. Altho, one note, I did have to rewind sometimes because the scene jumps to one another but other than that...if you love Fate or starting with Fate this is a definitely must-watch!

The pacing was perfect leading to the most powerful fights. The animation is great especially at the fight scene between the powerful. The combination of optimistic casts and depressing scenes are well balanced. Must watch to complete the whole set.

Well it's fate series, the whole abomination of historical character reimagine and made to fight each other. As much as I want to like this, the openign story itself is subpar with from previous series, but it's still a nice anime to pass the time with but not grand enough for me

Good starting point for those who want to get into the Fate series, It explains the basic rules of the Holy Grail war and the different classes that will be at play. This episode also features an amazing fight at the end that serves as taste for the future episodes to come

You know an episode of this length did a great job if you don't feel the time passing while watching it. I didn't think Fate's animation couldn't get any better, then they dropped this. Not only that, this entire introduction has a very interesting narrative compared to previous titles.

At first, there might be confusion as to why are the characters are somehow a little different from the other anime arcs but this only showcase how it will be an exciting journey to those who will watch and will continue to watch.

Great adaption to the light novel of the same name. Just a few minutes in and we are introduced to the world of Fate and a prelude to a new ominous Holy Grail War. Fans of previous Fate works will be happy to see recurring characters such as the Servants Gilgamesh and Enkidu.

Probably the most well adapted Fate by far, this special episode set up the anime really well, the world building and introduction to the world! A-1 picture did a great job with this episode, hardworking talented animators and don't forget Sawano Hiroyuki also working on the ost.
