The animation quality remains rather poor as is the theme thus far. Emiya Shirou's ideals work in desperate situations but is unable to go beyond that when confronted. Combing the events together, this is another average episode.

The pacing is slow and animation is dull, why are all the characters so annoying - Are there no likeable character? the baddie who tortured mc was op but I don't understand the plot or the story, feels like rushed

This one hits way harder than expected. The tension between Shirou and Rin actually feels real, not just talk, and the pacing keeps things moving without dragging. You start to see their differences clearly, which makes the whole dynamic more interesting. Solid episode.
