Rin is doing research.Books everywhere stacked, open, marked with strips of paper. The camera pans across her desk, showing the weight of what she's trying to understand. She mutters to herself, taps her fingers, pushes her hair back.Small gestures that make her feel human, not mage.

This is a slow paced episode, a lover's quarrel if you will. It's good for the story but it just turned out to be a most nonsensical one because of Shirou. The writing and pacing is good but as a character he stands out like a sore thumb in the most annoying way possible. Skip.

You can skip this episode halfway if you're not into knowing what will happen on Emiya and Saber's date. But this episode focuses on them understanding each other's reasons and goals, which was kind of helpful in understanding their character.
