Contrary to the heroic themes in the Fate and Unlimited Blade Works routes, here, reality is brought into the picture as viewers experience real-life issues such as abuse, feelings of guilt, and the search for love as redemption. The animation by Ufotable, along with the powerful music score by Yuki Kajiura, adds more value to the narrative through the juxtaposition of action with intimacy.

Fate siempre se ha destacado por sus efectos especiales y las buenas batallas que presenta. La batalla entre Salter y Berserker es espectacular, la que sigue también. Y el final es espectacular, la transformación deja con ganas de seguir con la siguiente película.

This movie’s animation is superb, it is immaculate right down to a single teardrop. Which is something seeing how the characters look generic, and their side view faces look funny. The beginning scenes felt like they jumped around a bit putting a strain on the pacing, which self corrected later on in the film.

The fight scene was crazy, the fighting styles of each combatant was a reflection of their personalities, it all coalesced into a magnificent display of willpower! The story following Sakura, and the events unfolding around Emiya were chaotic, heartbreaking, and oddly enough hopeful. I’d like to see how all of this is resolved!

This movie is a masterclass in slow-burn psychological horror. It’s a massive, beautifully dark info dump that finally strips away the typical shonen hype to flesh out the tragic lore we desperately needed.

I love the movie!! I think it's a pretty good adaptation of the visual novel, however I think they sanitized Sakura a bit too much? While that's fine I think they missed the point the route was trying to say which is that, "Victims are not perfect & they don't need to be."

The movie feels great enough to me but I can see the pacing starting to get rush or... I'm not sure what it was but Saber Alter Vs Berserker was cool af and getting to know whats up with Sakura was fucked up. F*ck Matou Zouken
