This episode cleared almost all the mysteries about Kuro and Illya, as her/their mother arrives. Their family background is indeed very controversial.

I like this episode as there were a lot of battle scenes and the episode focus more on the intense plot. Now we know more about Ilya's tragic past and how it intertwined with Kuro as well.
