Fate/Grand Order
Oshimeter
Synopsis
The Chaldea Security Organization is charged with monitoring the future of humanity — so when their readings go dark one day and every timeline leads to extinction by the end of 2016, the alarm is immediate. The cause traces back to the 2004 Holy Grail War in Fuyuki, and the only solution is experimental time travel called Rayshift. Ritsuka Fujimaru, a fresh recruit who barely knows what's going on, gets thrown into the past alongside Mash Kyrielight, a girl with her own mysteries, to fix historical anomalies before they unravel everything. These are the CMs and promotional shorts for the Fate/Grand Order mobile game, animated by a rotating lineup of studios including ufotable, Shaft, A-1 Pictures, and Wit Studio. Each piece is its own self-contained burst of animation — battle sequences, character spotlights, event teasers — and the production quality across the board is genuinely impressive for what are essentially commercials. The real draw here is seeing iconic Servants from across the Fate universe brought to life in short, punchy action scenes with top-tier animation. If you're already deep in the Fate franchise from Fate/stay night or Fate/Zero, these feel like little rewards — familiar faces and new ones rendered beautifully. If you liked Fate/Apocrypha's approach of throwing a ton of legendary figures into chaotic battles, this scratches that same itch in bite-sized form. Not a substitute for a full series, but a solid companion piece for fans of the world.
