📖 SYNOPSIS

"Ayakashi" follows Kusaka Yuu, a student consumed by grief after the death of his childhood friend, leaving him with no desire to live. His life takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of Yoake Eim, a mysterious girl who changes everything. This encounter awakens a hidden power within Yuu, revealing the existence of Ayakashi, parasitic life forces that grant superhuman abilities to their hosts in exchange for their life force. Now, Yuu finds himself hunted by other Ayakashi and their hosts, thrust into a never-ending battle for survival. The anime explores themes of loss, the will to live, and the consequences of power in a world where the line between life and death is blurred.
