Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves - Mr. KARATE Trailer
Oshimeter
Synopsis
South Town's Kyokugen Karate Dojo gets torn apart when Mr. Big and his crew roll up on it. Marco Rodriguez, a Kyokugen student, tries to hold the line but he's badly outnumbered. Terry Bogard — the Hungry Wolf himself — shows up and helps buy some time, but even he recognizes this isn't his fight to finish. Kyokugen problems need a Kyokugen solution. So he makes a call, and a V12 engine roars to life somewhere across South Town. The man behind the wheel wears a tengu mask and hits like a freight train. That's Mr. Karate, and he's on his way. Directed by Masami Obari, who's built a career on fight sequences that actually feel like they have weight, this is a single-episode anime short tied to the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves game. It's a tight, kinetic dose of old-school SNK energy — the kind that fans of the original Fatal Fury games grew up with. If you appreciated Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie for treating its source material seriously, or if Art of Fighting ever had a place in your heart, this scratches a very specific itch. It's grounded in dojo honor and street-level crime, not cosmic stakes, which keeps it focused. Short runtime means no filler, just setup and delivery — a crime boss, a dojo under fire, and one masked fighter arriving right on cue.
