Makura really said “don’t underestimate me” and proved it 😭 But also, I love how nobody was salty about losing. It was just good vibes all around, which is kinda rare for tournament arcs.

This episode felt like a festival you wish you could be part of. The little moments of the people cheering, preparing, just being happy together WAAAH they hit harder than the fights for me. It’s such a comfort episode.

Watching Makura just wrap Tia up in a cocoon and win the whole thing like it was nothing was so funny because those spiders are on another level

I still cannot get over how the spiders showed everyone why they are the real bosses of the forest during the warrior division. I really thought Tia or Lu would take the win since they were going all out with blood magic and holy light, but Makura just stepped in and wrapped Tia up in seconds which made the tiny crown moment even better

It was actually really cool to see the Lizardmen and Elves getting serious about their training just because winter finally ended and they were bored

The Demon Lord looked so awkward acting all humble while sitting next to the Dragon King, especially with poor Hiraku stuck in the middle of all that intense energy

Frau and Sena having a double knockout was such a tense moment and the choreography for their wind and reflex battle actually looked really good for this show

Lu tried to use her first wife status to get a do over and it was hilarious how Hiraku was not having any of it today

Hakuren and Lasty turned the entire stadium into a smoking crater and I bet the Demon Lord was rethinking his life choices after seeing that mushroom cloud

I lost my mind when Daga got hung up in those spider webs and he looked so disappointed while dangling in the air like a little snack
