Faithful and Unfaithful The Animation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Two months into his relationship with Riko, Keita genuinely believes things are good between them — or so he thought. Then he catches her kissing another guy, and the whole thing falls apart in an instant. What makes it worse is who that other guy turns out to be: Shunpei, the boyfriend of Mika, the mutual friend who introduced them in the first place. Two people blindsided by the same betrayal, ending up at Mika's apartment with nowhere else to go and a lot of complicated feelings to sort through. Uwaki to Honki is a one-episode OVA from Studio Seven, adapted from a manga, and it leans hard into the emotional messiness that follows infidelity — the kind of situation where nobody's hands are entirely clean. The character animation is expressive enough that you actually feel the weight of what's happening, which matters in a story that lives or dies on whether you buy into the emotional beats. It's grounded in a familiar urban setting, which keeps everything feeling immediate and real rather than stylized. If you gravitate toward titles like Boku no Kanojo ga Majime Sugiru Shojo Bitch na Ken for its relationship drama with genuine tension, or you liked how Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo handled complicated romantic entanglements, this scratches a similar itch. It's short, focused, and doesn't waste time getting to the emotional and intimate core of the story.
