That dead serious Makarov was really amazing! The fight scenes felt a bit short since they were mostly filled with dialogue, but Makarov’s power was incredibly impactful. The execution of Fairy Law was perfectly impressive and served as a high point for the episode.

That Makarov vs Jose fight was all I needed. I love Makarov's character design and how they portray his light magic. It just feels majestic and divine. His words are also super wise (as expected of a guild master) ofc, but I just love how he delivers his lines as a character ✨
