Episode Context

As the very first episode of a 175-episode run, this is pure foundation-laying, introducing the core cast, the guild system, and the magical world that will sustain hundreds of episodes of adventure. There's nothing before it and everything ahead. Episode 2, 'Fire Dragon, Monkey, and Bull,' picks up immediately, launching the newly formed team into their first proper mission and deepening the character dynamics established here.
