Episode Context

Coming off Gray's strategic showdown with Rufus in Episode 4, this fifth episode pivots away from the Grand Magic Games arena to develop the parallel storyline unfolding beneath the palace. It deepens the season's escalating conflict with the kingdom by introducing the Garou Knights as a lethal new threat. This is direct buildup to the next stretch of episodes, where Natsu's group will clash with these executioners in dedicated one-on-one battles.
