Episode Context

Coming off the explosive revelations of episode 1's 'King of the Dragons,' this episode transitions the season's focus from the Grand Magic Games arena to the political machinations and hidden agendas within the kingdom itself. It establishes the Eclipse Project as the central narrative thread that will drive the coming arc, laying essential groundwork for the strategic confrontations and escalating dangers ahead. This is early-season worldbuilding at its most critical, skip it and you'll be lost for what follows.
