EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at roughly the season's midpoint, Episode 9 escalates the White Mage crisis that became fully apparent in Episode 8, shifting from revelation to all-out internal guild conflict. This is where the 100 Years Quest storyline pivots from external threats to deeply personal ones, forcing Team Natsu to confront enemies they never wanted to fight. It directly sets the stage for Episode 10's continued confrontations as the team pushes to break the White Mage's hold and reclaim their comrades.
