I’ll be honest, the beginning felt a bit unnecessary, as it slowed the momentum from the previous cliffhanger and dampened the excitement. But the rest was so engaging that it hooks you again! Plus, the intense aura during the fight scenes is captured with such precise detail.

Oh wow, the scenes are quite destructive when they fight the Water Dragon. Though it seems dark and intense, but I still laugh because the Team Natsu dialogue is funny for real. And yes, it really is the power of friendship!

For some reason it’s not giving that old-school Fairy Tail vibe anymore. Things are happening but it doesn’t feel like the plot is moving properly. At least pacing and animation are still good.

Episode Context

Episode 6 sits at a critical juncture in the Mercphobia conflict, directly continuing the fallout from Episode 5's escalation where the Water Dragon God lost control and unleashed chaos on the team. This installment deepens the confrontation while layering in character-driven themes of legacy and identity, building toward Episode 7's 'All's Well That Ends Well,' which suggests the current arc is heading toward resolution and aftermath before the season pivots to its next major challenge.
