The story flow doesn't just beat around the bush. The fight scenes are perfectly executed and built up so well that they immediately hook your interest. Plus, those unexpected revelations are honestly overwhelming to take in, especially the ending. The plot is brilliantly crafted, and even the BGM will leave you thrilled.

So far, I am enjoying this! It’s great to finally see the Water God Dragon and learn his story. It’s definitely building up to something huge. I can't wait to see how team Natsu wins over team Kiria!

Very good animation and pacing, but this series always does this, nerfing the main characters. This episode was frustrating to watch, honestly made me want to punch a few of them.

Episode Context

Following Episode 2's introduction of the submerged town of Ermina and the Water God Dragon Mercphobia, this third episode turns the Diabolos guild from a looming threat into an active antagonist force, raising the physical stakes considerably. It's still early in a 25-episode season, meaning these fights serve as the first real power check for Team Natsu in their quest and establish the combat framework for confrontations to come. The seeds planted here around Touka and the Diabolos guild's dragon-hunting agenda will clearly drive significant narrative threads moving forward.
