Episode Context

Coming off Episode 16's tests of team cohesion, this installment pivots to skill-building and tactical preparation, giving the Devil Bats the strategic foundation they'll need for tougher opponents ahead. The introduction of the Seibu Wild Gunmen's coaching staff signals the next competitive challenge on the schedule. At episode 17 of 145, this is still early-season roster and skill development, establishing the playbook the team will rely on as stakes escalate.
