EPISODE REVIEWS

This anime was amazing so far! I really like the vibe and also the characters that were introduced here. The plot was also new to me, the MC was quite different than what I had watched before. Go, Ein!

Episode Context

Episode 2 settles into the foundational work that every underdog fantasy series needs early on. Expect a slower, more deliberate pace as Ein begins testing the boundaries of his Appraiser class and discovers it carries far more weight than anyone assumed. The tone balances quiet introspection with sparks of determination, this isn't wall-to-wall action, but rather the careful building of a power system and a protagonist learning to trust himself. Ursula emerges as a key figure, providing guidance and grounding Ein's journey in something more personal than pure combat. Themes of self-worth and resilience run through the episode, reinforcing the show's core premise that being underestimated can be its own kind of advantage. If you enjoy the setup before the payoff, this delivers exactly that.
