EPISODE REVIEWS

The ending was comforting and domestic, it was nice to watch! Although not much going on for the final episode, but it was still fun to watch their antics. It seems many things would happen in the second season if they produced it!

Episode Context

The season finale shifts gears entirely from the high-stakes confrontations that preceded it. "Happiness, Forever" is a denouement episode through and through, expect a reflective, warm-hearted tone rather than explosive action. The pacing is deliberately measured, giving Ein, Yuri, Ursula, and May room to breathe after the battles they've endured. Themes of unity, belonging, and personal growth take center stage as the bonds forged across twelve episodes receive their emotional payoff. This is the kind of finale that prioritizes character over spectacle, wrapping up relationship threads and letting the cast settle into the lives they've fought to protect. If you've been invested in this group's dynamic more than the power fantasy elements, this landing should feel earned. It also leaves just enough open space to hint at roads still untraveled.
