You really have to wonder about that beach ending and if they are actually there or just part of the originals now but either way it felt like a nice way to close things out

My heart is actually breaking right now because seeing Nao turn into those golden bubbles was way too much and I just wanted her to stay her own person even if merging was for the best

I can't believe Sunao actually pulled off those test scores and seeing her study so hard in the flashbacks made me feel so proud of her for not needing a double anymore

That quantum theory explanation for the replicas was a bit confusing and it felt like they were just making up rules on the fly but the emotional payoff on the bridge still landed pretty hard

that shot of Sunao and Akiya walking on the beach at the very end was such a nice way to show they finally got their peaceful life

Taeko offering them a place to live forever was such a sweet moment and it made it even sadder that they decided to go face their originals in Kyoto instead

It broke my heart when Nao thanked Aki for showing her the world right before she dissolved, but at least she lives on inside Sunao now

Aki and Sunao writing on the blackboard together at the end was the exact kind of closure needed after all the drama with their doubles

the flashback about why Nao was even created after that childhood fight really tied the whole show together and made the ending feel so much more earned

I was crying so hard when Nao turned into those little golden bubbles and said thank you to Sunao for letting her be the gentle part of her soul

seeing the original Sunao show those test scores makes you realize she doesn't need to hide behind a replica anymore and that is such good growth for her

seeing Ryo explain the whole layer thing while everyone was just staring at two sets of the same person on a bridge was kind of a lot but it worked

I really wasn't ready for the bridge scene in Arashiyama, because seeing both versions of Sunao in those kimonos felt like such a perfect way to end things. I really thought the merging would feel like a death but seeing them graduate together made me realize they are finally whole and happy after everything they went through with the layers

I don't know how to feel about this anime and its finale, lol. I mean, I liked how it was presented, but I felt like it lacked a little when it came to Nao and Aki's perspective. Still, the dilemma made for a great ending. This is something I'll keep wondering about—whether it was a good or bad ending, lol.

I kinda saw this ending coming from miles away. Or maybe even since the first episode. But I'm still left wanting more. I liked how this episode addressed Sunao's issues, but why did it feel so rushed? The way it was presented didn't hit me as hard as I expected. Still, I liked this episode.

Why did this anime kinda make me feel empty? 😶 Either the ending was SO GOOD or SO BAD for me, lmao. Seriously, though, I liked this episode, but it still felt a little underwhelming.

Sebenarnya ending-nya cukup memuaskan. Asal-usul replika beserta penyebab kemunculannyadijelaskan, meski masih aku belum sepenuhnya mengerti. Perkembangan karakter para original juga terasa. Meski begitu, aku punya perasaan campur aduk terhadap ending-nya. Hubungan Nao dan Aki terasa seperti berhenti begitu saja setelah dikembangkan selama 12 episod. Selain itu, aku juga masih bingung dengan adegan terakhir. Apakah karakter yang muncul di sana adalah para original atau justru replika? Overall, ini merupaka anime romantis yang bisa dibilang bagus. Meskipun aku tahu akan ada orang-orang yang tidak suka endingnya.
