Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance

In a world besieged by monstrous beings known as Angels, humanity's survival rests on the shoulders of young Eva pilots. Shinji and Rei, already burdened by the weight of this responsibility, find their ranks bolstered by the arrival of the fiery Asuka and the enigmatic Mari. Piloting enormous, biomechanical machines called Evas, these four teenagers are thrust into a desperate struggle against the Angels. As the battles intensify, the threat of the apocalyptic Third Impact looms large. While they fight to protect mankind from annihilation, the pilots must also confront their own inner turmoil and the complex relationships that bind them, testing their resolve and the very fabric of their humanity.
